A half-timbered house with a long history, idyllically situated on the Neckar River – once a fief mill of the Pfullingen Monastery, today a cozy inn with a beer garden. Perfect for a break with Swabian cuisine and a view of the water.

Only recommended going uphill. Going down is no fun, dangerous, and only costs brake pads. It's better to go down via Pfrondorf -> Kirchentellinsfurt if you prefer asphalt. Otherwise, there are many options on gravel, e.g., Kirnbachtal to Bebenhausen.

Mittelstadt on the cycle path to Nürtingen

The section is truly beautiful, but not particularly accessible on asphalt, as most of the cycle paths in the Schönbuch Nature Park are unpaved, and road bikers have to use busy highways. For gravel bikes, Hofgut Einsiedel is easily accessible via forest paths. There seems to be a beer garden at the estate, but it's not always open. I personally haven't seen it open during my visits. From Kirchentellinsfurt, Hofgut Einsiedel is reached via a paved road via an extreme ramp, which you might find beautiful, but not necessarily. It's too extreme for me on a road bike. Towards Dettenhausen, the road follows the paved K6912, which is fairly busy and, above all, fast-moving.
