THEY LIE WITH HONOUR IN SAINT-VENANT AND NEIGHBOURING GRAVEYARDS. THIS MEMORIAL ALSO PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE SUFFERING OF THE LOCAL POPULATION AND THE CARE AND ASSISTANCE GIVEN BY-THEM DURING THIS TIME.
