Inaugurated on September 24, 1916, the Revigny-sur-Ornain National Cemetery pays tribute to all the soldiers who fell on the surrounding battlefields. Located behind the Champagne and Verdun fronts, Revigny was a key point in the organization of the French front. The cemetery, built near a former field hospital, was expanded in 1922. It houses the remains of 1,313 soldiers from the Great War, 72 of whom are buried in an ossuary. At the center stands a monument commemorating the fallen of Champagne and Verdun. https://www.cheminsdememoire.gouv.fr/fr/revigny-sur-ornain

Bar-le-Duc is a renaissance town worth exploring. It lies in the middle of a valley and is lined with vineyards and forests. Many bridges will take you over the Ornains that flows through here. If you like culinary excursions, you should definitely try the currant jam, which is traditionally pitted by hand with a goose quill.
