I confirm very uneven terrain especially before this descent (photo), I think it is the tractor which passes by there and also puts tree trunks across the path, so no pleasure when it rains. In dry weather to see. Cdt

Statue erected by Abbot Bernard de Mun, because it was then located on his land. It was placed here because it dominates the place, at the top of the hill. It is now located in the dominial forest, the land having been bought by the State in 1971. The choice of a name 'Black Virgin' remains a mystery to this day.

The Blémur battery is currently private property and a training center for security companies. The Blémur battery was built between 1875 and 1882. Attached to Fort Domont, the battery is a sacred and secure place. It includes several casemates (in other words blockhouses), and many entrances. The role of the battery is similar to that of Domont: to prohibit the Beaumont railway while monitoring the plain of France. Today, even if the barracks are totally empty, the Blémur battery remains and remains accessible to walkers, visitors and has become a curiosity of the Montmorency forest.

Every time I go down this path, he's always stoned. Be careful when driving, I was surprised by big mud which is hard. Don't go too fast!
