Trou du Duc is a natural cave located in a steep rock face. The unusual entrance is particularly exciting: on the viewing plateau above the cliffs, a metal hatch in the ground leads into the cave. After opening it, you climb down about 5–6 meters via a permanently installed metal ladder. Below, an impressive, gate-like rock window opens up with a fantastic view over the valley and the wooded Combe. Attention!: The descent is at your own risk. You should definitely bring a flashlight or headlamp. Please close the hatch carefully after leaving. In wet or icy conditions, the descent is extremely slippery and dangerous.

Absolutely a must see. It is not crowded and you literally have all the space to view the chateau and the other rooms with beautiful collections. A relaxing park where you walk through to see the other collections. To conclude, the castle and a small drink of coffee, wine or ice cream available. Across the street is a catering facility.

As a commemoration of the 2017 Tour de France. Comblanchien was a transit point here. A very interesting, elaborate construction.
