With its beautiful 1930s building typical of the Charente style, the covered market is at the heart of life in Châtelaillon. Under its glass roof, you will find everything you need to treat yourself to a 100% Charente meal: cheesemaker, butcher, fishmonger or caterer, the 17 traders are proud to offer you their local products ... and guaranteed quality! The days and opening hours of the covered market are: • From April to September: every day from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. • From October to March: Tuesday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. In the morning, the rue du marché is teeming with life. The outdoor market The Châtelaillon-Plage fairground market is made up of more than 80 traders gathered out of season and up to 180 in high season, along the Boulevard de Lattre de Tassigny, de la Libération and rue du marché. Twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, they are waiting for you to help you discover their local specialties. From caterers to fruit sellers and sweet treats, stroll through the lively Rue du marché and make your choice among the treasures of Charente gastronomy. When summer comes, the outdoor market expands to welcome street vendors, jewelry designers and artisans... Opening days and times of the fairground market: every Tuesday and Friday, all year round from 8am to 1pm The night market Handcrafted creations to please you, exhibited by around forty exhibitors, are set up opposite the Fête Foraine, from Rue Brissaud to the Post Office.
