Beautiful village with a castle ruin and a (dried-up) dam with a reservoir. All daily shopping possible and at least 3 good restaurants and a café.

Almost at the peak of the hike—the ascent in the suggested direction is truly steep and, given the typical Provençal temperatures, definitely requires a decent level of fitness. Poles are helpful, and surefootedness and proper hiking boots 🥾 are a must! Once at the top, a beautiful ridge hike with fantastic views rewards the effort of the climb.

A pretty little chapel located just above Croagnes. Below, there's a small stone bench, perfect for taking a break in the shade.
