Where there are wide open spaces, there are herds of bison! Stop here to admire these European bison, recognizable by their smaller size. Historically, they are forest bison that have adapted their size to be able to move more easily between the trees.

It might be nice to have a drink or a crepe at the hostel. However, if you're in mountain biking mode and already sweating, you might prefer the terrace! lol! The guests at this 4-star hostel will thank you! :-D

A path that starts in Lans and climbs towards the refuge (4*!) of La Croix Perrin. It's also very nice in the other direction! It's obviously downhill! ;-)

From this forest path, we discover a pretty viewpoint over Lans en Vercors, and its domain called "the eagles". Preferably take it at the end of the afternoon (in summer), because this slope will be in the shade.
