Brilliant MTB trail section with a mega view. Be a little careful on the slanted stone slabs. Perfect end to my home loop before heading back down to Albersweiler.

Locals often refer to it as the "Wetterkreuz" instead of the Bischofskreuz. The last approx. 100 m to the summit can be managed with a mountain bike, but older bikers should partially push their bikes due to numerous tree roots and stones.

a few meters from the hiking trail: 2 benches with a great Trifels view

On a fabulous path through a wonderful forest stands this bench, which will still offer a view across the Modenbachtal into the Pfälzer Wald for a few more years. At some point, the trees will have closed this viewing window again. Until then, you can enjoy a dreamlike view and absolute tranquility here (OK, every now and then airplanes and other hikers). In fact, it is also the only bench on this section of the path.
