A pilgrimage site known for its chapel, built on a small hill between Rosheim and Bischoffsheim. Its origins and founder are unknown. The oldest remains date back to the 14th century, and it is unclear whether an earlier building existed there. Since the 15th century, the chapel has been dedicated to Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows, Saint Thiébaut, and Saint Gangolf and has become a place of pilgrimage, celebrated particularly on September 15, the commemoration of the Seven Sorrows of Our Lady, and on Good Friday. In the 19th century, during the typhus epidemic, and in 1918, during the dysentery outbreak, penitential processions were organized there, attracting crowds.
