Cycling around Calenzana
Wonderful coastal road with a breathtaking panorama, little traffic and a varied route. The asphalt surface is significantly worse for a few kilometers in the middle section, but becomes really good again towards Calvi. The route is by no means unsuitable for road bikes because of this. A few kilometers of slightly rougher asphalt do not make an otherwise fantastic route unsuitable for road cycling.

One of the most beautiful and scenic roads I have ever cycled!

Calvi is a beautiful seaside town, bathed by turquoise waters and steeped in history. I recommend strolling through the narrow streets of the Citadel, built in 1483 by the Genoese, and then heading to the port. The view of the bay, overlooked by high mountains, including Mount Cinto (2,706 m), Corsica's highest peak, is impressive.
