Did that road today and indeed nice rolling rural road, almost traffic free. And quite good tarmac for a country road. Thanks guys for the tip.

RACEF TOWER OF ALMUSSAFES It was part of the defensive and customs belt of Valencia and is a defensive tower of Moorish origin, with an almost square plan. The tower is in very good condition.👍

Rural road flat and fairly well paved for most of its route. It connects Algemesí with Benifaió, passing through the terminus of Alginet. Recommended for cycling.

The tower of Rassef is a tower of Spanish-Muslim origin. It was part of the original village of Al-Mazaf, which means the customs house, made up of a group of farms. It was built between the 9th and 12th centuries with the brick system, the usual in these Islamic buildings.

A Spanish-Muslim tower like there are many in Valencia. It is well restored and located next to a garden.
