A legendary mountain pass that separates the High Pyrenees Natural Park from the Aigüestortes and Lake of Saint-Maurice National Park. It can be climbed from both valleys.

last climb of the track from the Bago de Lesuí to the track that connects to the triador. sudden rise and be aware that if it has rained recently the ground is very clayey and it becomes a mountain of mud. Although the track is wide, it is full of streams and holes. Just as the one that goes up the slopes is comfortable and easy, this one is not so much. However, the views are worth it

Incredible climb that connects the Pallars Sobirà with the Aran Valley. From the Pallars, the hardest section is on the straights until before the hermitage of Our Lady of the Ares. Once here, the pans gently take us up to the neck. Highly recommended.

We will find several bars where we can stop to eat or shops to buy. There are also hostels and hostels if we wanted to stop for the night. From Esterri we can go up towards Bonaigua or discover the valleys of Isil. Everything is highly recommended.

The arrival from Llavorsí is amazing, long but beautiful; the descent to Espiu is almost 30 turns and is even more beautiful than being at the top. I don't want to think about what it must be like to go up there, in some areas the road surface is somewhat broken.
