The Green Way of Dénia (Vía Verde Dénia-El Verger) is one of the most beautiful and easily accessible routes in the municipality. It follows the old railway line that connected Dénia with Carcaixent (Valencia) and is now an ideal route for hiking, cycling, or simply relaxing in a peaceful and natural setting.

The collection includes archaeological finds such as ceramics, coins, tools, and bronze artifacts, which document the city's cultural and economic transformations over the centuries. Particularly noteworthy are Islamic bronzes from the 10th and 11th centuries and Roman trade goods, which underscore Dénia's importance as a Mediterranean trading center. Founded in 1957, the museum was originally housed in Dénia Castle. Following extensive renovations, it moved to the "Casa de la Marquesa" in 2024, where the exhibition is now more accessible, multimedia, and educational. Today the museum is considered the cultural heart of the city and offers visitors a vivid insight into the historical development of Dénia as an important port and trading city on the Mediterranean.

On the first floor, the living quarters of a wealthy family from that era have been reconstructed with original furniture, clothing, and decorative elements such as Manises ceramics and works by the painter Francisco Dasi. The second floor showcases tools, implements, and everyday objects that offer insights into agricultural work and maritime trade. The building itself is considered part of the exhibition, reflecting the architecture and lifestyle of the bourgeoisie of that time. Admission is free, and the museum offers an authentic glimpse into the bourgeois and economic life of Dénia in the 19th century.

The Vía Verde de Dénia is a beautiful, flat cycle path that follows a former railway line between Dénia and El Vergel (Spanish: El Verger). It is approximately 6 kilometers long, well-maintained, and ideal for cycling, walking, or running – away from traffic and surrounded by nature. The route begins on the northern edge of Dénia, near the Camí del Llavador road, and leads to just before El Vergel. Along the way, you'll cycle through orange groves, past small country houses, and enjoy beautiful views of Montgó mountain. The route is almost entirely flat, paved or surfaced with fine gravel, and is therefore suitable for all fitness levels. Along the Vía Verde, there are several rest areas with benches, shade, and information panels about the history of the old railway line that once connected Dénia with Gandía. It's also part of Spain's larger network of "Vías Verdes" – disused railway lines that have been transformed into sustainable recreational paths. A particular charm lies in the tranquility and the diverse landscape: in spring, the orange trees blossom, and in summer, the air is fragrant with pine trees and sea air. At the end of the route, it's easy to continue on to Els Poblets or Las Marinas beach.

The municipal museum aims to highlight the history of the 19th century. During this time, Dénia experienced a special boom and development thanks to the raisin trade. This trade was the economic driving force of Dénia and led to major urban development. At the same time, it created a cultural climate and a consolidated civil society that benefited from the advances of the time: the train and gas, among others.
