This defensive tower was built in 1763. Its purpose was to protect the west coast of Ibiza, between the church of Sant Antoni and the Cap des Savinar defensive tower. Years ago, the tower was converted into a dwelling without significant changes to its exterior.

Beautiful white sand beach (300 m long, 30 m wide) and turquoise water, but I personally found the crowds to be awful!! The beach has four different restaurants, run by the Cala Bassa Beach Club. These are mostly quite exclusive options, but there's also a snack bar at the far end of the bay. You'll also find some beach vendors there.

The cathedral is visible from far away, it literally draws you in. It shone beautifully in the rising sun 🌞...unfortunately I saw it with scaffolding.

Beautifully situated beach, now in April the water still had a beautiful blue color, but in summer a lot of algae are said to make the water cloudy.

Along the coast, you'll find several defensive towers built to guard against pirates, such as the D'en Rovira Tower near Cala Conta and the Ses Portes Tower at the island's southern tip.
For expansive views, head to Sa Talaia, the highest point in Ibiza, offering vistas across the entire island, including the bay of Sant Antoni and even Formentera on clear days. The defensive towers, like Torre des Savinar (Pirate's Tower) near Cala d'Hort, also provide spectacular views, particularly of Es Vedrà. Additionally, the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Snows (Ibiza Cathedral) in Ibiza Old Town offers great perspectives.
