San Adrián is a rock located on the northern anticline of the Sierra de Urbasa, dominating the valleys of Burunda and Ergoiena. This 1,113 meter summit belongs to this last valley and is dominated by the hermitage of the saint. It is said that he protects the valley from the storm. It has a spectacular crest over the town of Lizarraga, at 588 metres, at the junction of the Urbasa and Andia mountains, in the port/tunnel of Lizarraga, at 1030 metres. This crest is formed by a set of large calcareous blocks that collapse towards the valley forming a characteristic sawn profile that is easily admired from the zig-zaging road that ascends to the Lizarraga pass.
