From this viewpoint you have views of Puebla de Arenoso, the reservoir, Olba and many of the surrounding populated areas. A good place from which to start some of the Enduroland trails that start in the vicinity of this summit.

From this point, one more step and you reach Alto Santa Barbara 1404 meters. Surely the most popular ascent in the area. I recommend climbing from Villanueva de Viver or from Fuente la Reina for the views. From Caudiel it is also a very good route, longer and harder, that's for sure.

One of the most popular ascents in the area. The multiple descents along forest tracks that start from this mountain are also highly recommended.

The Virgin of Pradas has many devotees in the area. Noteworthy is the procession that takes place in early spring between San Agustín and this hermitage. The castle belonged to the Escriche family for years. It has now been transferred to the San Agustín town council. Few remains of the castle remain, but the tower and the entrance arch are notable. We hope it will be rebuilt one day. Be sure to visit the bridge a little further down, as well as some of the surrounding abandoned villages.
