This was where the old Highway started towards northern Dalarba and Røros in Norway. Here you can see memorials in the form of a vaulted stone bridge from the eighteenth century and a milestone. There is a evidence of copper production at the site since the fifteenth century.

In the map, you may see paths clearly around here but it was certainly small! Easy enough to walk but biking is a bit rough. However it is possible to bike along the electrical cables, just bit so pretty view

The routes in Falun Lugnet are very nice. The routes are interesting and technical (cross-country) in a very beautiful environment. There are a few choices, from an easy green line to a hard black line. You can combine a few of these options, so if for example you discover that black is a bit too much for you, you can switch to the red route. At the end you can choose some more downhill-focussed lines to end your ride on a blast. If you want you can walk back up and session those lines. Have fun!
