Cobbled streets lead up to the originally Moorish fortress. Once you reach the top, your eyes are immediately drawn to the beautiful baroque portal of the 17th century basilica. Another reward for the short climb is the beautiful panoramic view of Caravaca and the surrounding mountains and hills. The red and white entrance portal of the bullring in the north of the city immediately catches your eye. On the way back, it is worth taking a stroll through the old town of Caravaca. The path leads past shops, monasteries and small chapels until an archway at the northern end of the Gran Vía leads to the Plaza del Arco with the town hall.

Large bullring in the Mudejar style. Its colourful reddish façade and strategically elevated position make it even more majestic. Today, although few bullfights are held there, concerts and public events are held there.

The basilica is located on top of a hill. The facade is impressive. Everything around it is very well preserved and the view of Caravaca from there is fantastic.
