In some parts the sand on the trail is quite thick: if you are travelling with a very heavy bike it might be better to push it.

to go to the woods take the Masseria Cuturi and park there. it is a very thick Mediterranean scrub with a path for walking. be careful because there are 2 or 3 paths and there is the risk of getting lost. much more interesting is the comfortable dirt road that goes around the lands of the Masseria Cuturi. among spectacular vineyards, beautiful fig trees, majestic shady pines. flat road, also suitable for sports or mountain bikes. all free and quiet. recommended on Sundays to escape the overcrowded beaches.
