Coll del Farell, is not the real peak of the urbanization, which is located one km higher. It reaches 690 meters above sea level, after an ascent of about 9 km from Caldes.

El Farell is one of the hardest climbs in the Vallés area. It is an 8 km climb with an average slope of 5.8% and some ramps that reach 9%. It is a very constant climb, with some easier sections and some more demanding areas at the beginning and end. The road is in good condition, sometimes a little narrow, with slightly irregular areas due to the roots of the pine trees that surround the road at all times. In the last km of the climb, the road opens and there are good views of the Caldes de Montbui area and the coastal mountain range. It is a bar located at the top of Farell... and therefore, an ideal place to take a short break and refresh yourself after climbing the pass. The views of the Vallés from here are interesting.

Beautiful, smooth, nearly car-free climb with approx 400m of elevation gain. Great views of Barcelona and surroundings. Cafe on top too!

Slope over Figuera del Vicari, reaching Sant Sebastià de Montmajor from Farell (cul de sac) where you can see an area with the appearance of clay with its characteristic red color, and which can be admired in several locations in the area for paths or tracks.
