The Adršpach-Teplice Rocks are one of the most interesting sites in the entire Sudetes and the largest rock formation in the Czech Republic. They are formed by two famous rock formations – Adršpach and Teplice – which differ in character, but together create a unique experience of massive sandstone walls, narrow gorges, and soaring peaks. The highest rocks reach up to 100 meters, and many of them have their own names, such as Lovers and Sugarloaf.

The Lower Castle in Teplice nad Metují is a Baroque palace built in 1694 by Ferdinand Wenzel Schmiedel, Baron von Schmieden. Located in the lower part of the town, its façade is adorned with cartouches bearing the founder's coat of arms. Today, the building serves as a cultural and tourist attraction, making it an interesting stop on a tour of the Central Sudetes. It's worth combining a visit to the castle with a trip to the nearby Upper Castle and the famous Teplice rock towns, a major attraction in the region.

The entrance fee to the rock city is 230 CZK per person, which is definitely okay, but it's best to book tickets online in advance as they only allow a limited number of people in.
