The Erdőspuszta of Debrecen is located in the semicircle, about 10 kilometers east of the city. The Country House, the Bánki Rest Center, designed by Dezső Tóth in 1982, which fits well with the natural image of the Erdőspuszta, is the most important element of the Bánki Recreation Center as an educational center. The 15-hectare herb garden consists mainly of a collection of trees, deciduous, pine and shrubs, and when it was established in 1978, 1,200 seedlings of pine, deciduous and shrub were planted. The arboretum was realized in 1989, which is a demonstration site for the 16 flora regions of the Central European flora area. Thanks to the protected environment of the Arboretum, the visitor can meet not only carefully maintained diverse vegetation, but also rich insects, birds, smaller vertebrates, mammals and amphibians.
