The first church on this site already stood in the 14th century, but it was probably a wooden structure. At the beginning of the 15th century, the construction of the current church began, and it was completed in the 16th century. In 1581, the church burned down, but it was rebuilt. In 1636, the tower collapsed, and a few years later, in 1640, during a great city fire, the church burned down again and was rebuilt again (with a new tower). Since then, the church has stood in almost unchanged form. It even survived World War II without damage.

The entire route is perfectly asphalted and really beautiful to cycle! In Kolno, on the railway cycle path, there is a really great and covered rest area with a trash can and information boards about the history.

Lake Zamkowe in Wałcz is an attractive reservoir with an area of 133 ha and a depth of up to 41 m. The proximity of the city makes it a popular place for recreation and water sports - there is a marina here, and the use of motorboats is allowed. Anglers will find many interesting sites here, and the lake is regularly stocked. It is worth combining a visit to the water with a visit to the nearby church of St. Anthony. Cyclists will appreciate the easy access and interesting views, especially on the northern side of the lake.

The old cemetery in Łomnica is a quiet, overgrown place that hides mementos of the former inhabitants of these lands. There are neglected tombstones from the 19th and early 20th centuries, often with German inscriptions, which testify to the multicultural history of the region. The cemetery has an intimate character and is located near the village, on a slight elevation among trees.

the route is probably not officially opened yet, in some places not all the layers of the surface are finished and there are no smooth crossings at the intersections with roads, but the route seems passable especially on weekends when the roadworks are at a standstill, during the week the construction is still going on

A roadside shrine carved into a tree trunk. There are two more along the way.
