As water towers go this is definitely up there from an architectural point of view. The tower is complimented by a water hydrant be the side of the road. Avoid attempting to use this as a crossing for the A36. Although it's surrounded by idyllic lanes, it's too dangerous to cross here and run up the road for 10 metres to the lane on the left.
