Almost like a monument, a reference to the Way of St. James, we get our hiking stamp in the house opposite. After a chat, we continue walking, looking at the wide fields again, and after a while we reach Nermsdorf. Here is our entire hike https://youtu.be/nFbLNkERv8c

Construction of the church began in 1501. The large, single-nave church with a retracted choir has a tower on the south side that defines the silhouette of the city. The church looks mighty, the tower, which was added in 1586, is towering. The three-story and three-sided gallery is adorned with paintings on the lower parapets showing scenes from the New Testament.

The Old Cemetery in Buttstädt, in the district of Sömmerda, dates from the Renaissance and is one of the few remaining cemetery complexes with tombs from the Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo and Classicism periods in Central Germany. The cemetery, lined by two arcaded halls, is counted among the so-called Camposanto cemeteries, called Campo Santi in Italian. Such Campo Santi emerged in the 16th and 17th centuries, especially in central Germany, the heartland of the Reformation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rSbfW-Kz-A&list=PLmog5PRI2ts7bffUBqN7S63WUzj0Ez3AX&index=7
