Officially "Church of Maria Vergine Assunta", dating back to the 13th century. The facade is more recent, but the apse is still original. Beautiful view all around. You can get there either from the service road (gate normally open, close it when leaving), or from the cemetery, through a staircase.

Chapel not far from Sciolze, at the top of a slightly challenging dirt ramp. The entrance seems blocked, but the pedestrian passage next to the barrier is also accessible by bike (the iron rod closing the passage bends upwards, allowing passage - obviously I realized this *after* doing the acrobatics...) The "avenue of remembrance" with a column in memory of the fallen and a staircase flanked by two rows of cypresses leading up to the chapel is interesting. Beautiful view all around. Worth a stop.

Country with various points of interest, from the church to the castle, which is worth crossing if only to avoid the traffic on the provincial roads.

Marentino became famous for its murals with rebus puzzles, but beyond these, the village is very interesting: several churches (one of which has been converted into a town hall), ancient palaces, beautiful views of the surrounding hills. The historic center is a short loop above the main road, which can be walked in 5 minutes. To reach the parish church, you have to climb a staircase.

SMAT water point in the square of Sciolze. Nearby, the beautiful church of San Rocco, a restaurant, a grocery store. Everything you need for a nice break.

Beautiful country, whose most interesting part is at the top of the hill and requires a short detour - which is completely worth it. Three beautiful churches, and splendid views of the surrounding hill.
