A friendly neighbor from the nearby settlement brought two deck chairs to the shelter. After a long day of hiking and lugging a backpack, it provided a relaxing and refreshing experience.

There is a small shelter here with a nice view over the lake. It is in the southwestern part of the lake that is more swamp-like and somewhat separated from the rest of the lake. Outside the shelter is a picnic table and a fireplace. Firewood and a toilet can be found at the end of the gravel road 500 meters to the west of the shelter.

Down by the gravel road that runs alongside the trail is a water source. When I passed by the water looked grey and murky. I decided not to use it, but if you do, make sure to use a filter!
