September 8, 2023, Fountain at Spring Lake Park

Spring Lake Park is the heart and pride of the Texarkana, TX park system. This 145-acre park features a spring fed lake, open green spaces with picnic areas, playground units, and an 18-hole disc golf course. The 1.8 mile Phillip MacDougal walking trail strolls throughout the entire park and is a favorite spot for the recreational or occasional jogger. Spring Lake Park is also where you will hear the"crack of the bat"at the Swanger Sports Complex, home of the Texarkana, Texas Dixie Baseball League, and Dobson Field, home of the Texas A&M-Texarkana Eagles baseball team. There are two new additions to the park. The Rotary Splash Pad, where cool, wet fun is a much needed break in the hot summer days, and the Kylee Sullivan-Petsafe Dog Park for our canine companions to enjoy the great outdoors in a safe location. The park is also an ideal place to spend a spring and fall evening watching movies in the park, offering new and classic releases. The park is located at 4303 North Park Road.
