In the meantime, all shelters have been rebuilt. The burn marks on the surrounding trees are still clearly visible. Who ignites such protective devices? 😠

The Shelterplatz consists of two shelters, which are not directly adjacent to each other, so that one has his privacy in a sense. However, there is only at the upper shelter a deposit for the wood, so you may need to organize wood from there. The shelters are located directly on the water and therefore invite you for a long swim or fishing. However, there are mainly many canoeists on the way and therefore the places at Stora Gla are often well visited. Therefore one is not always alone.

Here were four shelters, which were spread over the land. Three shelters were right on the water and one was up on a hill. The shelters not only provide hikers with shelter, but are also much sought after by canoeists, who are very busy here. Unfortunately, the shelters burned down in April 2019. However, the place is still suitable for camping, if you do not need a shelter. Unfortunately there is no firewood either. Here you have to look for his firewood in nature.
