The Blacksnake Mountain Trail begins at a small dirt pull-off on Road 3, where parking is available, and loops through a quiet valley, with Murray Brook running down the center. Be cautious of ticks. Wear long pants and shirts, and stay on the trail. There are no jaw-dropping viewpoints here, but a peaceful getaway from crowds on his trail.

Several overlapping loops can be made from the 33+ Miles of the Tracy Ridge Hiking Trail System. Camping available at Tracy Ridge Campground. If you want more miles, utilize the Bullis Hollow Trail to get to the 15 Mile Marilla Trail System nearby or take the North Country Trail in either direction for thousands of miles.
