MTB Trails around Alpharetta
Big Creek Greenway Alpharetta Trail is one of my favorite sections of the Big Creek Greenway. The trail is smooth, well maintained, and surrounded by trees, making it a great place for biking, running, or walking. Even though you're close to Alpharetta, it feels peaceful and quiet once you're on the trail. There are plenty of scenic spots along the way, and the mostly flat terrain makes it enjoyable for riders and walkers of all skill levels. It's a great place to get some fresh air and enjoy the outdoors.

Big Creek Greenway Trailhead is a great place to start a ride, run, or walk. It has easy access, plenty of parking, and miles of smooth paved trail. One of the things I like most is how quickly you get away from the busy city and into a peaceful area with trees, the creek, and lots of nature. The trailhead also has restrooms and water filling stations, which makes it a convenient spot for longer rides. Overall, it's a great place to spend a few hours outdoors and enjoy the trail.

This small dirt road takes you back to Cochran Mill Park. It’s a flat and easy ride, mostly on dirt. A few miles before, you’ll pass by the Griffith Family Cemetery, and from there, you can also head straight to visit the community of Chattahoochee Hills, where you’ll find a grocery store.

Rico Tatum Road, along with Old Rico Road and Rico Road, forms a great network of gravel routes in the area that’s a favorite among local gravel riders. The surface is mostly crushed stone or stone dust, making for a smooth and enjoyable ride.

Great pathway but best to ride on weekdays and in the mornings before all the walkers and families hope on it.

Nice path, and generally well-cared for. Gets busy on weekends, but can still be enjoyed by those on bicycles. I would recommend the ride.
