Hualapai Mountain Park is the oldest park in Mohave County, the beginnings of which can be traced to the Civilian Conservation Corps' work in the 1930s. There are miles of trails to explore, including a hike to the summit of Hualapai Mountain which reaches nearly 8,500 feet. You can also stay at a campground or splash out and book a night or two at the Hualapai Mountain Resort. This is a great place to visit any time of year, but due to elevation you'll want to check road conditions during winter.
