July 28, 2024, Bridge over Reedy Fork

You can get some great views over the water from this bridge, which spans Reedy Fork and looks toward Lake Townsend in the southeast. You'll have to run on the shoulder for this short span.

July 28, 2024, Reedy Fork Trail

Although this is technically a mountain bike trail, runners and hikers frequently use it, too. It's a great place to spot wildlife, and you can turn it into a loop with the Laurel Bluff Trail on the south side of Reedy Fork.

This is an easy fun flowing trail with some small jumps and whoop-de-doos. It is right next to Lake Townsend, giving you some nice views at times. This is a mountain bike specific trail so it is groomed to be fun.

December 13, 2023, Reedy Fork Trail

This is a heavily wooded area where you might see signs of wildlife like raccoons, deer, and beavers. The trail parallels the Reedy Fork Creek. It is a dedicated mountain bike trail but it is also used by hikers. It lots of fun to ride it as an out and back trail but you can also turn it into a loop if you don't mind spending some time on the road.
