The Augusta Woods Nature Preserve is a small nature preserve right along the Vandalia Trail, Plainfield, Indiana. This is a popular, paved multi-use trail that takes you through this pleasant wooded area.

Starkey Park is a scenic 80 acre park that is located along Eagle Creek. The Park is connected to the Big-4 Rail Trail which connects to Zionsville and will run for a total of 50 miles when complete. The Zionsville portion of the Big 4 runs from Starkey Park north to Heritage Trail Park.
