If you need an adrenaline break from your ride, this ropes and zipline park sits right above the Niagara Gorge. You’ll climb, balance, and zip past views of the Whirlpool and river below. It’s a fun way to trade the bike for a harness and get your heart pumping before hitting the trail again.

Located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, this restored military site was used by the British Army, Canadian militia, and even U.S. forces during the War of 1812. It’s fun to explore the old buildings, earthworks, and cannons. If you’re into history, this is good place for you to visit.

Port Colborne is a town on Lake Erie and the southern end of the Welland Canal. This short but nice boardwalk has coffee, food, interesting shops. Great spot for watching boats coming into or out of the canal on a sunny day.

Niagara on the Lake is a picturesque town near Niagara Falls and as the name indicates it is located where the Niagara River meets Lake Ontario. Plenty of things to do there, like dining on the historic district, visiting For George and any of the wineries located around the city. It was my first time bike touring in that region and I was impressed by the trail along the Niagara River and the Niagara Parkway! I am sure coming back soon.

Fort George remembers me a toy Fort I had when I was a kid. It is really cool to visit. It is military fort in Niagara-on-the-Lake. It was used by the British Army, the Canadian militia, and the United States Armed Forces. For more historic content, Wikipedia has an entry dedicated to it.
