The Nackawic Nature Trail meanders along the banks of the Saint John River, offering breathtaking waterfront views. Take a moment to rest by the shore and enjoy the local wildlife; you’re almost certain to spot a friendly flock of ducks paddling nearby.

You can’t visit Nackawic without stopping to see this towering 15-metre monument to New Brunswick’s forestry heritage. While the sculpture itself is a must-see for the photos, I highly recommend taking the time to also explore the arboretum that's located nearby.

If you’re passing through Nackawic, this trail offers a beautiful, easy-going way to enjoy the Saint John River. The path is flat and well maintained, winding through forested sections and opening up to river views. In the end, you reach the Big Axe and the marina. I recommend stopping at the waterfront benches to enjoy the river breeze.

Quilli’s Family Fun Waterpark is a seasonal inflatable water park on the Saint John River. In the summer, kids run around on a floating obstacle course, slides, bridges, and a separate toddler area in a natural lakeside setting. For those looking to hike in Woolastook Park and enjoy the trails, there are two large parking lots at Quilli’s Family Fun Waterpark with restrooms.
