In Grydebjerg Forest, you’ll walk through idyllic, partly hilly terrain. If you listen carefully, you’re sure to hear some of the birds that live in the forest. You can go for a walk or a jog here.

Here at Lake Sorø, the forest meets the water. One moment you’re walking through the trees, the next you’re looking out over the lake.

Beautiful old church with a lovely, large, and well-kept churchyard/cemetery. Unfortunately, I was out with my dog and couldn't get inside to take more photos. But you're supposed to get a nice view from up there.

Here, below the Kongebroen, is the inflow from Sorø Lake into Pedersborg Lake. A perfect spot to give your kids and four-legged friends a break and a little refreshment. Upper on the road, there's an information board about the old bridge.

Beautiful, large lawn with a swimming area. There are two seating areas and a bench if you don't want to lie on the grass. There's also a trash can, and even though there was a graduation party here yesterday, it looks exemplary and well-maintained. The water is very easy and shallow to enter, making it a great spot for cooling off even for non-swimmers. It gets deeper after 2-3 meters, so keep an eye on children at all times. Fishing is permitted here under the following rules: Fishing only with a valid permit from the Sors Lystfiskerforening (Sors Fishing Association).
