It is always interesting to delve into the history of the area. I did not expect to find the ruin of a medieval castle here. The Weissenau castle ruin is not an architectural highlight but is nevertheless interesting to see. I am fascinated by the monstrous construction. The thickness of the walls alone is impressive. The tower is accessible and offers a beautiful view.
