⛏️ Gibraltar-Erbstollen Bochum – Data & History The original operation of the Gibraltar mine began after the granting of the mining field on January 11, 1786. This makes the Gibraltar-Erbstollen one of the early hard coal facilities on the Ruhr. Wikipedia.
