The Kalksandsteinsee is a lake of about 17.0 ha. Currently, the current water depth is 25 meters. In the vicinity of the sand suction system, the water depth is up to six meters. Here is a very large suction effect, so unexpectedly breaks the shore. In the lake there are also several small platos, which have heights differences of up to 3 - 4 meters! A few years ago, there were also exposed sturgeons that can today have a size of one meter forty and more. At the moment, the minimum interference is 1.30 cm. Also there were already caught zander, pike! The back of the lake can not be fished, as to this day, sand is being mined. Therefore, the lake can be fished only up to half (see picture) At the lake there is a large parking lot where the car can be parked. On the right side of the parking lot you can drive halfway by car. Source: http://www.asv-holdorf.de/Gewaesserkarten/
