The Wilderness Loop is the longest that leaves form the zoo. Hikers take a rocky canyon trail. There is a picnic area at 1,000 feet elevation with views of Eisenhower Peak at 1,952 feet. This Trail brings hikers through habitats like desert riparian woodland with smoke tree, palo verde, desert willow, desert dune and desert scrub or creosote bush and white bur-sage.
