Looking toward the ocean, this park sits on the left, with public paid parking behind it and next to it, some of the closest beach parking you can get!

If you’re looking for an easy, relaxing walk with ocean views, Oceanside City Beach is a great spot. The nearby trail from Buccaneer Beach to Tyson Street Park is mostly flat and perfect for all fitness levels. Along the way, you’ll catch beautiful sea breezes, beach playgrounds, and plenty of space to stretch your legs. It’s especially nice early morning or late afternoon when it’s quieter, and the sun is not so strong.

A fantastic, good quality bike path with plenty of nature to take in whilst you cycle along it. A great alternative to cycling on the surrounding roads.

This is the end point for the 69 mile long San Luis Rey River, stretching from it's headwaters in the Palomar Mountains all the way through Cleveland National Forest to the Santa Rosa Mountains

A great spot to stop for a mid ride snack and restroom break in the middle of the cycle. The San Luis Ray Bike Path starts here too.
