"Anyone who sees the painted half-timbered church in Dabelow can hardly escape its idiosyncratic magic. On the one hand, the church, consecrated in 1855, with the western entrance portal and the wooden spire, looks like an orthodox Russian wooden church, on the other hand, the Gothic influence is evident in the building designed by the court architect Friedrich Wilhelm Buttel unmissable in this designed building. Light beams frame compartments lined with red and black clinker bricks. The church exudes a playful lightness and arouses curiosity about what it looks like from the inside. Blue, white and ocher are the defining colors here. The contemporary interior design exists essentially consisting of an altar, pulpit, pews and west gallery as well as a panel painting. A stencil painting based on the Gothic style adorns the walls in the nave and sanctuary." "from: https://www.dorfkirchen-in-mv.de/content/Version_1/detail_gesamt.php?Reg_Nr=494)
