When the railway underpass or overpass in Werder is built, traffic will roar through here. Until then, this road through the forest is simply beautiful to drive in. And hopefully, after the detour, it won't be completely ruined.

Did I write that there's no beer garden in Kemnitz? No, wrong. Kemnitz has an exemplary beer garden, the Rittmeister. The food has been better. But the beer, which is brewed here on site, provides comfort after a long drive. And the food isn't bad. But it has been more engaging.

Anyone with children and a love of fun and games can indulge themselves here. A little further toward Lehnin, at the turnoff toward Beelitz, there's a farm shop with excellent meat from their own pigs (Saddleback), fruit, vegetables, and more. Support your local farmers.

I've always wanted to see the church from the inside. But as a cyclist, such a visit is out of the question. And even though I live in Werder, I haven't been there yet.

Cycle path along the road out of Werder to Phöben or to the Havel cycle path. There is now some root damage. However, the country road is not an alternative due to the traffic.
