The tour around Kaiafas laguna is a pretty fine and easy path. I recommended also as free place for wild camping under the stars in advanced spring season, early summer and fall (or even in winter for intrepid people)

Finding it closed, but well patronized by local Greeks, a local encouraged us to climb over the gate. The mesh has been cut to provide sequential foot-holds for this. It's well worth it. As our guide said, you finish feeling relaxed with philosophical wellbeing. The 'closed and danger' signs are apparantly to absolve the local authority from responsibility if there is rockfall. You can mitigate this risk by soaking within the cave area, not just outside it.
