We follow the path through the landscape, we look down on the Elbe, which now accompanies us parallel. For a moment, everything is quiet around us. Next to us are vineyards and fields, in the distance we see Meißen and look across at the slopes, divided by the valley created by the Elbe. After some time, the path gradually leads us down and we reach Karpfenschänke, a district of Diera-Zehren. https://youtu.be/gcc2n2XSdQs

We reach the vineyard, we are on the Saxon Wine Trail, the path leads us upwards. Once at the top, we stand among grapevines, it is the Bocksberg. We now look over the whole city. If a QR code can be scanned here, an audio guide will take us into the history of the city, the winery and the Saxon Wine Trail. We continue our way and after some time reach the Weingut Schloss Proschwitz. https://youtu.be/gcc2n2XSdQs

The entire bend of the Elbe can be seen from this point if you dare to get close enough to the (unsecured!) precipice.
