Founded in 1585, with the toll house across the road added in 1710. Nice historic pub with a big beer garden.

A moderate climb, but the view back over London from the top is worth it. The surface is gravel, but it is manageable on any bike and tyre combination.

Don’t miss the amazing cafe at top of hill in Gladstone Park. It’s worth the climb for the coffee and cakes ! Plus there are toilets and a gorgeous walled flower garden :-)

A pair of old stone huts across the river, now falling to pieces and much-graffitied. No idea what they were for, can’t find any information online.

Bridge recently REOPENED. A shame they didn’t take to opportunity to install a bridge designed to encourage people to use it! Anyway if you have a head for heights, confined spaces ( the bridge is very narrow) and can climb a steep slope or steps it is now OPEN!
