Great place to stop for a break when out cycling. Richmond market place has plenty of cafes and pubs, for bite to eat and a refreshing drink.

This pretty wooden footbridge spans the Apedale Beck stream and is surrounded by stunning foliage, especially lovely in the autumn when the leaves change colour.

This is the summit of the climb from Wensley up past Castle Bolton, steep there and then the long long climb with 14% as the steepest...

This church was built between 1809 and 1813, paid for by the Earl of Aylesbury, who was the squire of Jervaulx. During the Victorian era, a lot of the interior was redone. I find the stained-glass windows in the church to be "totally exquisite".
