The former knight's estate dates back to a high medieval castle complex; today, two large rectangular building components remain: a half-timbered building from around 1600 on the remains of the medieval defensive wall with loophole-like openings, and a Renaissance gate. The manor house with its half-timbered upper floor still partly houses rooms with wall and ceiling paintings, while large parts of the complex were demolished after Order 209 of the Soviet Military Administration in 1947, and the site was later partially redeveloped. Today, the building houses a local history museum. There are currently many branches, twigs, and entire treetops on the path. This makes riding impossible.
